I gave the lectures today in the Intro Psych courses for which I'm the teaching assistant (or TA, in the lingo). Later I was grading today's quizzes, and I found this on the back of one student's paper.
According to current data multi-tasking is what kids do and they think (wrongly) that they do it well, but to their detriment, alas they do not. I bet said student was also texting, googling, game playing, and listening to your lecture while flirting with classmate and drawing your caricature...
