Nine-hundred dollars and a new transmission later, the Corolla is back on it's feet. Here's to another 100,000 miles and our forthcoming "economic stimulus" check. We would have just stuffed it in the bank anyway.

Very fortunate for the country that your "car" decided to be patriotic by breaking down and thus stimulating the economic recovery. What kind of foresight is "saving" that check...how irresponsible of you. Hooray for the U.S.A. and the Toyota....
