Addendum to yesterday's post.

Cost of toy mouse: $0.65
Cost of vet bill when favorite cat rips (inedible and indigestible--i.e., death causing) 6-inch tail off said mouse and eats it: $40.
Cost of cat ownership: priceless

And I mean 'priceless' in terms of inestimably; as in, way too much; as in, we're having cat for dinner the next three nights.

P.S. For sale: 1 cat (slight wear: 'high' on throw-up medicine)

  1. Will you put me up for sale if I have to go to the doctor too??

PS: The cats are NOT for sale ;)

Maybe you could just rent them to people who are feeling a bit masochistic...or are tired of their money and furniture.

    Kidding! I love my grandcats.

By the way, I wonder if/when it occurred to said naughty cat that the mouse was a little short on flavor??? And I find it hair raising that the little darling apparently eats her mice tails first??? Horrors!!!

  4. (a) The mice were catnip flavored: I'm pretty sure the cat was high and had the 'munchies', as the kids say.

    (b) I've got news for you: your 'grandcats' are adopted.
