Thank you Max. I really loved that dog and what he was to our family and faith. I believe he was a gift from God Himself. Jeff was suppose to be our dog, that I know. He wasn't perfect, but he was perfect for us. He was a wonderful friend a lot of people. Everyone in the neighborhood knew Jeff and enjoyed his company. He was mostly well behaved and a joy to call our dog. He was my friend in so many ways. He was our greeter at church. He was a great company dog and never got in trouble in a crowd of people. He had such zeal when he was young and a quiet dignity too. I will miss him deeply because he represented my dream of our farm our family and our ministry. Thank you again for the pictorial...I do hope I see him in Heaven one day.
Another phase in our lives I guess. It's funny that you guys actually let me name him Jeff and that nobody changed it for being such a weird name. He really was like a member of the family and he will of course be missed. I really don't remember a time without him. I miss the times when he was sooo excited when we would come home.

ReplyDeleteMy chains are gone...I've been set free...(I don't know the name of the hymn, but I heard it when he passed from this life!)

ReplyDeleteLet's hear your best Jeff stories it will make me feel better...
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was so precious when he looked at us so sheepishly when he was "using the bathroom". What a modest, Christian dog :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you think you named him.
